My passion for the outdoors led me to start this business. My two favorite things in this world are dogs and fly fishing and having the opportunity to do both is a dream come true. The outfitter is named after this guy right here. Our Hi-River Runner AKA Rio.

I grew up with a love for dogs and my family always had a few around. I started training them when I was a teenager and really began to expand on that when we got Rio. I’ve spent over the last 4 years being mentored by some amazing trainers and working with Rio in the field retrieving for upland hunts. There really is something special about sharing the outdoors with him. I want to help people get to experience the same enjoyment that we do with our dogs. Hi-River Outfitters boarding and training is located on 2 acres in Kennesaw. With limited kennel runs, I am proud to provide an intimate boarding and training experience. This allows me to give more attention and care to the dogs that stay with us.

Then there’s fly fishing… On my 5th birthday I got my first fly rod and have been in love with it ever since. I have had the opportunity to fish across much of the country, but I always find myself back on my home river, the Hiawassee. I cannot wait to share this special river with clients!
